When should first teeth come in?

“I had an interesting situation last week where a parent walked in and asked me to make them a pediatric denture because their child was have their first birthday and didn’t have any teeth whereas all of his friends did. I let them know not to worry about it. The first teeth are expected to come in age 6 – 12 months, however it’s different for everybody. The main rule is if the teeth aren’t all in by 33 – 36 months, then you should go see your pediatric dentist to make sure there’s no underlining reasons for it. Some babies get their first tooth at 3 months, some at 4, and some don’t get that first tooth until around 14 or 15 months.”
